Part 9 - On the Road

Having spent so much effort getting the battery box sorted, I decided to miss a few steps and MOT the bike so that I could use it. The battery would have to wait.

At the MOT I was told that if I had a stop light, and no other lights, it would fail. If I took the stop light off and had a reflector it would pass. Sop whilst the MOT was being done at the front, I downgraded the safety equipment at the rear. The bike passed with a Daylight MOT.

I built this bike in order to make the short journey to and from work, however, not long after the bike was on the road I had an opportunity to leave that job and work from home. The result is that the bike is now sat on a SORN certificate and is not getting used which is a shame. So I decided, after waiting seven and a half years, to sell it. It is now in the hands of a TS250 enthusiast where I am sure it will get the attention it deserves.
